Helping those with Multiple Sclerosis to enjoy a more secure, accessible, brighter and safer home & garden.
01454 854182
After realising there were few organisations who could help getting DIY jobs done in the home, Roger Wall & Shaun McCarthy, who both have MS, started Multiple Sclerosis People's Help, (MSPH), in 2001 along with the help of dedicated volunteers. Over the past 9 years they have helped hundreds of people in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
What does it cost?
We do not charge for the work we carry out, but as a voluntary organisation, we do ask if possible that you pay for or towards materials, i.e. paint, timber, fixings, lights etc. This enables us to use our funds to help others; buying equipment, materials, travel, administration costs, etc. Most of the people we have helped make a small donation, which is always appreciated.
Some work needs the help of professionals so we use local, trusted trades people, who are always checked.
